So what is your rock bottom price you want the team to accept? You know i bet they could run all week long at 1.25 @ mile. But, then take out your cut, their cut, fuel, expenses, maintenance, incidentals, and the list is Im sure longer but these are off the top of my list.Sometimes less miles for more $$ is the way to go, but it's your decision. Besides it sounds like some companies are limiting a truck to said amount of miles, which is lower than yours. So now there are more trucks out there, which makes it look like business is thriving, when in fact it's failing. If i was in your position, I'd do my damdest to find a team and then cultivate the relationship,and bend over backwards( within moderation) to keep them happy. Maybe the reason you can't keep a team is your a micro-manager?
