We have met a lot of great people that drive for other companies. We where reminded again this last weekend that what is on your box does not matter. We where lucky enough to have a Panther truck park next to us that did not bad mouth their company, did not bad mouth their owner, and did not bad mouth FedEx. We had a great visit shared stories on how different procedures are handled within out companies with a mutual respect. We then spent a great evening watching the World or Outlaws race in Phoenix. If they had not parked by us we would have spent a quiet day in the truck doing nothing. We are always glad when drivers can look past what is on your doors and just look at you as an interesting couple to meet. Hope more of us keep this in mind when looking for a parking spot. All of us little trucks need to stick together!!

How true! We met a couple at Bentz in Ft Wayne while getting some work done on our sleeper. We have maintained a good relationship with them and at times have been able to answer questions for one another on several expediting and truck issues.

I remember the first MATS we attended as drivers. In the area where we parked was FDCC, Landstar and Conway, we had a great time and look forward to the next year so we can all visit again. 07 will be interesting as 2 of the 5 of us have changed carriers. In any event we alweays enjoy one anothers company.

Couldn't agree with you more. We have met a lot of great people out here in the expediting world and we do not care who they work for. We keep in touch with a couple that works for FedEx. Ran into them a few times in different areas and it is always great to see them. Last week we spent time with another PII team and a FedEx team in CA and had a great day just hanging out comparing how different companies have different ways of doing things and how each team handles different situations - had some good laughs out of it all.
However, we do try and stay away from anyone with a negative attitude. Like my husband always says, this job is tough enough without having to listen to someone that just wants to complain.

So true, Life itself is hard work and if you don't like the work, change or go home. We are all out here to make a living the best we can. It's like our belief with riding our motorcycles, as long as you ride the wind it doesn't matter what you ride.

We are all just truckin along, no matter how many wheels or what is in or on the box.

We've met some extremely nice people out here and it certainly doesn't matter if the logo on the truck is the same as yours.
