There's a QC inspection fee of $250, IIRC. It's listed in the contract. I don't know what they charge for decal removal, if anything. They'll take that $250 out of the escrow and you should get the balance back.

Wow a whole 4 months.....not even enough time to learn the system....

just evaluating my options ...ive saved enouph capital where i dont need the load advances anymore, i got a business credit card for gas and maintance(so i dont need Comdata) Im still waiting on login information, so i can try and figure out why i havent been reimbursed for hundreds of dollars in tolls and dry runs. And trying to get dh pay ( how many times is there an error, that they have to resend load offer when you get to the shipper?? Erasing all DH pay....

Options are easy....staying will be harder, and take effort to fully learn how to get things done at panther... there are many long term vanners there that have made a living there...and remember the term...."Embrace the Stupidity"....at Panther...

And the fact they had me on a saftey hold without even notifying me(taking me oos,and off the boards) i found out by logging on to drivers website(best thing about Panther) but it took me almost three hours(Panthers "state of the art"Phone system) to talk to someone and get issue resolved...they had the wrong person??

4 months to some might seem a short time ,,,,but to others it might be to long to stay with a carrier .. Everybody is different....some of us can tollerate pain or P I A s alittle more than others...as well as different money needs and freight patterns as well ...if not happy jump ship , but just not to many ships ...

Didn't you say in another thread everyone's needs are different? I think 4 months is plenty to decide if a carrier is a fit or not. You

Im going to wait 6 months, but its probably alot easier to "Embrace the Stupidity" if you are getting decent miles, and not being nickel n dimed to death.

You are so right, Ziggi. When one is literally going broke while trying to learn the system, then I would say it is time to leave.

It took me nearly a year to get Panther all figured out. Once I did, I did quite well there.

I'm sure it is. It's the "other things" that can drive you crazy until you figure it out. Once you figure it out you can then embrace the stupidity. Until that happens, the money, how ever much it is, doesn't quite seem worth it.

It always has a cost somewhere if you change carriers. If as you indicate you are making the revenue, then I would work their system a little as that shouldn't have a negative impact on your income. With just four months, I think I would give it a little more time as you indicated. If it isn't working at that point, then you have to weigh up the cost to change and whether the "grass is greener" on the other side.

Leave?....to where?...just another system/customer base to learn....Nowhere did he say he was going broke, as a matter of fact quite the opposite was stated....he is just probably just frustrated with the Panther system....all I stated is maybe more time is needed...

and talk about embrace the stupidity...I see where our Navigation/mapping system is now mandatory..for something I don't need or will ever use....
