I always wonder how anti-gun idiots can maintain their position, given that the facts destroy their position, but them I'm reminded of something Ayn Rand said, which is, "You can't persuade someone with reason if reason isn't how they arrived at their position in the first place." I mangled that quote a bit, but that's the gist. Anti-gunners, ftmp, including those on this forum, aren't thinking; they're feeling. There are those anti-gunners in the government who aren't thinking, but scheming. But regular people against guns are just emoting. Reason and facts are useless against them.
Kind of like snakes. Some people have a fear of snakes so visceral, that you can't reason with them. It may be just a harmless garter snake and may be as beneficial as the day is long, but to someone with a serious, visceral, irrational fear, it's a killer. I guess it's the same with guns.
