Compliments to Bolt

In regards to the ad at the beginning when coming to this site. I don't work for em or anything like that. I figured I blew a gasket a few years ago when another company's ad opened along w/ the site so it's balanced to say "Good job" to a decent ad.

Why I like it:

Positive message, understated, realistic, a real face to a company.

To the other companies advertising, following Bolt's lead would be a pretty good way to go in my opinion. For knowing nothing about the company except for a bit I read in here, I now have a pretty good impression of em. A good enough impression to write a post on em anyway.

Ps: I'm not saying I love ads. I'm saying since I realize we need the ads to pay for the site Bolt has done a pretty good job w/ thiers & wanna tip my hat to em.

Danny,

Thanks for pointing this out. Bolt is one of those companies that get it. It's going to be these kinds of carriers that survive this recession...and make survival possible for their fleets.

LOL!! no cheesecakes lately, but i do have to make enough beef tips in a red wine sauce over egg noodles to feed 80 people, so i might make enough extra to feed another 30 or so that is in the building!! :D

LOL, maybe i'll get my "choosen one" status back....i mean i haven't had a 3000 mile week in what ...2 weeks!!! :D

AnneM has nothing to do with the dispatching of freight....But OVM you are correct! I am drooling thinking about the beef tips! Chef, can we make them figure friendly please....I am still on that diet!

One thing Bolt 'gets' that I appreciate: they don't require a giant logo be placed on your truck [and charge for it!]. We always hope the relationship will work out, but if it doesn't, the owner's property doesn't suffer for it.:)

I've always wondered what kind of adhesive the cat uses for their decals.Always a dead giveaway when a person can see the perfect outline of the cats in old glue on a side of a truck. That's why it was nice with Nations,C&M, or who I am leased to now having the smaller decals.

I used laquer thinner and my old panther decals just came right off the van. Laquer thinner will not harm polyeurothane based/coated paint! So, I never had to ride around with the ghosts of panther past!

One thing I will admit about the panther decal is that people did read it. I have a Honda Insight and 69 Corvette. People will sit sideways in the passenger seat of their vehicle and watch my car as they pass. And of all the oddities the same thing happened with the this vehicle when I had the cat logo. People sat reading the side of the vehicle all the way up to the front fender when passing. And when parked one early morning I even heard a drunk group stumbling by belting the words--on time, every time, any time...

Myself, personally do prefer my current decal.
