It's a non slip safety feature.

Hey, if you can't be comfortable and it can't be convenient, while being out here, then there ain't no reason to be out here..... Vacations can be a "pita" when you have to 'struggle" to enjoy them...

Been looking into getting one found a few 2012 cargo max models both in Arizona. Found a few 2012 Spartan 12 ft for 23k new which would work good but I would like room for a small bed with 3 pallets if possible. Spent many days sleeping in driver seats.
