CAIR and Govt. Censorship

Interesting article about the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) in concert with liberal religious groups and their efforts to censor Congressman Ed Royce (R-CA) for his remarks linking Muslims to terrorism.

What's bothersome is that according to another article linked in the one above, certain departments of our polically correct government actually tried to issue a directive that would forbid the use of certain terms like "Islamo-facist" and "jihadist" among others because of their fear of offending "moderate Muslims" and turning them into Islamic terrorists. Fortunately, this effort was defeated by a group of congressmen lead by Pete Hoekstra (R-MI).

Neither Joseph Heller nor George Orwell could have imagined this surrealistic nonsense - thankfully, there are a few people with some common sense left in Washington.

cair is nothing but a terrorist organization and a non indicted co-conspirator in several terrorist trials. They are an extentions of the muslum brotherhood and the american muslum council and are working from "within" to silence any and all speech that they feel is against islam and the muslums. They would be just as happy and they are working to limit our freedom of speech.

I think the term "established domestic terrorist group" fits.

This is one group that I think should have their 501c3 status pulled and a full IRS and FBI investigation take place. There is so much to this group and a lot of Muslims try hard to distance themselves from them by not speaking up when they are targeted.
