Bimbo of the House: "Deportation of Illegals Un-American"

From Fox News:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently told a group of both legal and illegal immigrants and their families that enforcement of existing immigration laws, as currently practiced, is "un-American."
The speaker, condemning raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, referred to the immigrants she was addressing as "very, very patriotic."

Here's the link for the entire article and video of her rant:

Pelosi Tells Illegal Immigrants That Work Site Raids are Un-American - Presidential Politics | Political News - FOXNews.com

It's understandable that this dim-witted radical liberal could be voted into office by a district like San Francisco, but how she could be selected Speaker of the House is still beyond all reason. That she would consider illegal immigrants "very patriotic" when by their very existance here they break our laws, refuse to adopt our language and culture, and drain our resources. At the same time she declares our ICE Agents' raids and deportations as "un-American." This is just the beginning of B. Hussein Obama's push to legalize all these parasites. Hopefully, the Republicans will stand firm against this effort - but with knuckleheads like McCain you never know.

Well, I think they need to stop people from coming working in our country temporarly for good. Number one reason I say that, my aunt and uncle had a business in Texas and they hired Mexicans that had visas to workin in the US. When I would visist I would talk to some of them and they always told me, they would only keep a small portion of their pay and send the rest back to mexico to their families. Ok, I can understand that. Then they go on and say after about 5yrs of working here, they have sent enough back home in Mexico they would go back and live like Kings. Then I thought, how many more are doing that? How much money is being taking from our ecomony?

Thats why I don't beieve in the temporary work visas. All the poor countrys like Mexico are taking advantage of making a wage and not planning to invest it back into our economy.

Now, lets talk about the ones who are over here illegally. They are probably doing the same thing. But, the government has no way of keeping track of them. Or what crimes they may be commiting. I don't like the ideal of people being tracked or kept up with, but in a nation as big as ours, if they didn't what would keep the honest people honest or even worse how would we keep the criminals in order?

With all of this massive unemployment, bordering on the highest ever, we must decide whether or not our citizens should get jobs here or not. Like H1b visas, there are plenty of people here who are natives of the US that can do the job.

But again we must listen to the experts, like McCain who has said No American can pick lettuce, even if I pay them $50 an hour.

haha, I've done a lot of work McCain probably wouldn't be proud of when I was younger. Between the ages of 14 - 16 I use to tromp greens. Which where a few guys get into back of a semi trailer, which is open on top (can't remember the actually name for it) and they have a cutter that which the semi trailer and the cutter run along each other in the field cutting spinach, collard greens, etc., and while its throwing into the back of the trailer. Why that is going on, us guys are stomping on the greens to pack them in, so they are able to get more on the trailer. We did that for $10 a trailer, which normally we would do one every hour, unless something breaks down or the semi gets stuck in the field.

The other thing I did then, was catch chickens in chicken coops. From midnight to morning, since that when the chickens were sleeping in most cases and easier to catch. We would pick up the chickens in one hand, then put on leg in between our fingers in the other hand. Usually had two chickens in between each finger and sometimes three between the fore finger and thumb. Then we would take them to the cages on the truck. Don't remember what we were paid to do that, but from what I do remember, it paid pretty good for a 14 to 16 year old kid.

Just saying that, it wasn't just kids that were doing that. There were adults doing this job also. A job is a job. If it pays, its money in your pocket. Everybody can not be setting on a deck in a million dollar home. Wished I could, but that was the fact at the time.

Yea I hear you, I picked tomatoes for $1 a bushel to make school money. I would gladly trade my work for a 9 to 5 for $50 an hour, I wrote to McCain asking for an application but never got a reply. The truth is my work is a lot harder than picking lettuce in the field, just the danger I face alone make it worth while - how many pickers are hit by elderly people who drive the wrong way at 70mph while doing their job?

The amazing thing is I look around at some of these places I have been to and these people doing some of the worst work ever are Americans. Picking lettuce is a breeze for them.

Calling Pelosi a bimbo is rude and insulting and uncalled for. Bimbos of the world deserve more respect than that.

The EO computer geek needs to reduce the font size of these titles - some of them are nearly illegible.

I don't know, it seems to be a typo in the template. Wonder what is going on and when it will be fixed?

Re: Bimbo of the House:

One of the problems is that the farmers aren't going to pay even minimum wage for work in their fields. They hire migrant workers who do the job for very little and temporary housing, which is usually sub-standard. It is basically true that a lot of the immigrants and illegals are doing jobs that most Americans would never even consider doing for the pay that is being offered.

I don't see it as a problem, in fact we pay either way. There are programs setup to put the kids through school, there are programs to teach them who to hide and help them become hidden and there are programs to help them get here.

The real problem is not the wages but the war of words that has been used. McCain said "no American will go out and pick lettuce in my state?" yea right, McCain fails to get the fact that a lot of Americans do far worst jobs with zero help. The fallacy that our agriculture system will collapse without these Invaders is just that - a fallacy.

See Nancy said something else at that speech that is not being reported, she called these invaders patriotic. People should be screaming about that but again they are ignorant of the facts surrounding the invasion that is taking place - like the slavery issue and the human trafficking for the sex trade. We are less compasionate by allowing the invasion to take place than if we would build a proper border.

A proper border woudl be a half mile strip of land as a buffer zone from the shors of Texas to California that injcludes an impassible ravine all along the way. Can it be done? Look around at what has been build so far.

Proletariat vs. Bourgeoisie, always has been, always will be.
You either use people to get what you want, or you will be used by someone else to get what they want. Capitalism, Socialism, it's the same either way.
The migrants, legal or otherwise are going to get the short end of the stick in the long run. They are however still going to keep coming, with or without a tight border. Until there is an incentive to stay home, it won't change.

One of the responsibilites of the Federal Government is to secure our borders, they are not doing thier job. Mexico has resources everywhere, just a government far more corrupt than ours, hard to believe, but true. They need to clean thier own house. Layoutshooter

I winder which laws the law abiding can ignore and nancy would be ok with it because enforcing them would be , "un-american!?!" I mean how about our tax system, its not illgeal not to pay your taxes, its illegal not to file...you can owe the governement , but you have to tell them...how about sending a scaving (ms'd?) letter to a SC justice? would that be enough to get the fed marshalls at your door and would enforcing that be un-american? Oh wait that just happened, the guy told the marshalls to pound sand and then wrote another letter to justice robertson........
