Best Synthetic Oil??

amsoil is the best synthetic money can buy,but you do need to use their filter system,i dont use synthetic in my truck anymore,but i use to go 100000 miles between oil changes in my 1993 freightliner,cat did regular oil samples,they couldnt believe how good the samples were

Amsoil makes a good oil, but it thickens with age:

Amsoil makes lots of claims, usually based on testing their synthetic
against some non-synthetic oil. Yes synthetics are better, Amsoil is one of many synthetic oils.

Or Amsoil bases their claims on a test that makes their oil look good like the 4-ball wear test:

Arguably, Redline makes the best oils, but they are expensive.
They are the only Mfg making pure ester based synthetic oil.
