I had "HEARD" that Nancy Piglousi's Brother in-law had something to do with this company and that's why they got the Govt. backing but I couldn't find any proof of that so I guess it's just a rumor!!

He'll just keep doubling down on these boondoggles. He's playing with "house money" afterall.

The liberal/socialist always say when their program fails it's simply because it was under funded. The answer is ALWAYS throw more money at it.

Just look at the public schools. Find someone that supports giving the schools (or any other government pet program) and ask them.. Ok.. How much is enough?

They can't answer it.

LOL, its all good, until they run out of "other peoples money"...its a liberal socialist mindset...you know just like those entitlement programs that more then a few here on THIS site are all in favor of...

LOL, the funny thing is, they won't come around defend their positions anymore, too much heat and they feel "abused" by us....:D

Yet the Republicans still have no answer, and continue to trample the constitution and capitolism too... Yet 95% of the voters will still waste their vote this November too. So very sad!

As long as the "Elite" continue to "game" the vote with the 2 party system, the people are left to only vote for the "lesser" of the evils.....or as with the "entitlement crowd, the one that will "take care of them" from cradle to grave......

Or you can stop being a pawn of the elite, and the two corrupt parties and stop voting for evil...

haven't seen Paul Ryan's budget have you?

They have plans to fix it. The republican party is not with out flaws. It has to many democrats currently residing in it. This includes Mitt Romney.

There are conservative republicans with solid answers to the problem. No one pays attention to them in the MSM because it does not fit their mantra.

I think we all can agree, spending 1.40 for every dollar we bring in can't go on for ever and must be addressed.

I feel sorry for them, they preach to deaf ears because deep down they see and know that the Closet Muslim is a FAILURE and hopefully they will finally open their eyes and admit that!!

I agree, the Republicans gave us the Department of Homeland Security while railing about the evils of big government. As for trampling on capitolism (sic), I assume you meant capitalism. I guess TARP, started by Bush is a good example.

If you intentionally typed capitolism, you may have just coined a very good word! It could be a disease that afflicts our newly elected senators and congresspersons once arriving at the Capitol. This disease eats away the part of the brain responsible for moral, ethical and honest decision making. It also promotes selective memory, greed, dishonesty and omnipotence.

Capitolism could aslo be used to describe why some of these green companies are investing in alternative energy, not so much for potential profits in the future, but for the immediate truckload of government funding.

Excellent word Gary. I like it!

Paul Ryans budget still funds unconstitutional government agencies... A budget for the lesser of two evils. If you desire a constitutionally limited republic and Capitalism (thanks for noticing Moot) instead of demoncrasy and capitolism, you will vote against the two corrupt parties that now control every aspect of your life.

I totally agree with you..But the fact is the elites are only going to give you the lessers...The primaries are where you vote your idealism and beliefs, but when even those are fixed, the only true conservative isn't going to make it out on top...so yea you can vote for your favorite as a write in in the General and then live with the statist POS that occupies WH now, or vote for "anyone but"....because thats all you are going to get...

As long as you believe that your vote isn't going to count, it won't. Someday the people of this country will wake up and realize that the only weapon we have against losing thier freedom is the voting booth. As long as 95% of voting Americans continue to waste thier vote, they will continue to live without freedom and capitalism!

How has that position been working for you for the last 3 years? Your thesis is sound but that doesn't make it workable regardless of how much we want it to be.

Not the best analogy but it's early. It's like being given three choices. You can be hit by a Grumman 870 going 40mph or you can be hit by a Vespa LX150 going 40mph or you can be hit by a softball going 40mph. Now, the catch is the softball is only a feel good option, not an actual choice and if you choose the softball you get the bus by default.

The problem with you lesser of two evils is still evil people is you don't look at the big picture. Hell yes it's still evil, but it's less than what we have now. Here's the key though, you do the same thing next time and take another step down from evil. Then you do the same thing again the next time and gradually work your way toward the moderately good candidate. You just can't consume the whale in one bite.

We have been listening to the you can't consume the whale in one bite argument since Reagan (who wasn't a constitutionalist either BTW) and our country has has only gotten worse. If I ran my business for 100 years loosing less and less each year, I would have been bankrupt 90 years ago. Eventhough I lost less and less every year. Was either Bush a step in the right direction? How about Clinton, Obama, McCain, and now Romney??? How about the bought and paid for Senate and Congress during all that time? If you have in the past, and continue to vote for the lesser of two evils, you are voting for the destruction of America. I will continue to vote for not only the survival of America, but the survival of our constitution, capitalism, and freedom. I have been doing it since 1992, and I will continue until our nation is once again free, or until they take away my right to vote. With the way the lesser of two evils control the electoral process in America, we are already limited in what is supposed to be "free" elections...

There's only one problem standing in the way of taking the whale in one gulp - the Democrat party. The Ryan budget takes into consideration that these guys have to be dealt with and that he can't get everything he wants at one time in one bill. Of course even his budget with it's compromises won't go anywhere because the Democrats control the Senate and refuse to pass ANY budget - and have continued this illegal practice for over 1000 days and counting.

Here's the reality facing us now: we need to defeat Barack Hussein Obama and gain control of the Senate in order to clean up the messes Obama has made. The only way to achieve this is to vote for the GOP candidates. If GOP control of Congress and the White House is achieved, then we can start working within the party to promote sensible economic policies, balanced budgets and better adherence to the constitution.
