Alternative Fuels. Bad Corn/Good Corn

Bad corn is also know as evil corn. It is the choice of European colonists who brought to this country gun powder and chicken pox.

Good corn is also known as maize. It was introduced to the European colonists by Native Americans. The same people that gave them tobacco and peyote buttons.

Bad corn is used to make bad alcohol. Also known as moonshine. The moon is bad because it controls the tides that erode and destroy Mother Natures shorelines.

Good corn is used to make good alcohol. Also known as ethanol. Ethanol uses the friendly Mr. Sun icon. Mr. Sun is good. Mr. Sun warms Mother Earth.

Bad corn is used to feed cattle. Cattle is mostly made of meat. Meat is bad therefor cattle is bad.

Good corn is used to feed people. People are mostly water and only a little meat. Even Michael Moore is mostly water, some meat and warm air. Water is good.

Bad corn uses chemicals and fossil fuels to grow and transport it to market. Fossil fuels come from dinosaurs and dinosaurs are made of meat. And meat is bad.

Good corn uses nature to grow and it gets to the market via uh, uh, magic. Yeah good magic. And maybe pipelines or something that doesn't pollute. Pollution is bad.

Bad corn gets stuck in peoples teeth and isn't fully digested.

Good corn doesn't get stuck in teeth and is fully digested.

I say the government should give tons and tons of money to the people that grow and use good corn. And the people that grow and use bad corn should go to jail or Hollywood.

Thanks Bob, I think? I really didn't expect any replies to this. I was just emptying my mind of all this global warming stuff and other related information. I usually see at least two sides to every issue.
So I thought I would post something that exposed several sides and made random sense of one non issue and even less sense of everything else. And if you understand that my friend, you need help.

So how is Hooligan and where is he vacationing this year? Hope to run into the two of you again soon. Take care and thank you for your time and effort in representing us at the Panther council.

p.s. My dog Lyla has a freindly arf for Hooligan. ARF!

Hi

The use of corn for fuel is a waste of energy and land.Field grasses produces the same gases.Just more worthless trivia from a very bored expediter.

Hi

The ground doesn't have to plowed or tilled if they use field grasses (hay). All the farmers have to do is mow it and bale it.It naturally grows back and they do it all over again.

Good grass is grown in America.

Bad grass is grown in Mexico.

Really, really good grass man is like grown in South America or some place foreign and far away.

Good grass is a bio fuel.

Bad grass is used to feed cattle and make meat, cheese and milk. And meat is still bad. I think cheese and milk are bad too. But probably not as bad as meat. Cattle make methane which is a very bad gas.

Good grass is renewable.

Bad grass isn't.

Good grass makes rope.

Bad grass makes dope.

I heard Andrew Wilkow comment on this one day. Basically he said Peru gets their bio-diesel from sugar cane. It has more of what it takes to make fuel than corn (sucrose). His opinion is this: 3 states grow sugar cane, and 11 grow sugar beets. They grow all year round in these states. Why not use them instead of corn?

To me, it seems a lot simpler than going thru more hoops with corn, unless it's the corn lobbyists trying to stay ahead in alternative fuel. If the country REALLY wants to act on alternative fuel, they need to put aside the paid lobbyists and just listen to fact and start investigating.

He who lobbys with the most money, goes home with the most money. The American Corn Growers Association has lots of money. All across the corn belt new ethanol plants are being built.

Good sugar comes from sugarcane. Canes aid frail people when walking.

Bad sugar comes from beets. Frozen beets fall from trucks and lie in wait of unsuspecting motorists along I-29 in North Dakota. Don't fall victim to frozen sugar beets. Don't pick up stray beets. Don't give money to deadbeats. Don't beat a dead horse with a frozen sugar beet. And the beat goes on.

Moot,

Looks like your post has generated alot more than you expected.

All corn is renewable. Just take a look in the toilet the day after eating a few ears.

That Sean Mullins disc is Something like "Core Soul." Check it out. I like his rendition of "Sunday morning coming down."

Hooligan says arf to your dog.

Keep the faith. This corn thing shall pass.

Bob
