The DHS in all it's glory as of March 12th no Canadian or Mexican origin air freight will be on any U.S Commercial aircraft.
Too bad DX and others do alot of AOG and other shipments by NW and U.S Air and Delta. 1,000's $$ of lost revenue for these airlines Now we can only ship by UPS or Fedex!
Now they can layoff hundeds of TSA inspectors across the land and claim victory in cutting expenses! At what real cost i say?

I am wondering who bought stock in these before this ruling came into effect!!

Okay, I got my Jimmy Hoffa decoder ring out and will give this post a whirl.

DHS - Department of Homeland Security.

DX - WND Will not decipher.

AOG - WND Will not decipher.

NW - NWA - Northwest Airlines

TSA - Transportation Security Administration. The very same people that confiscated my Swiss Army Knife.

What does all this mean? No Canadian or Mexican airfreight. What about European and Asian originating airfreight?

I hope who ever wins the election in 2008 closes Dept. of Homeland Security.If they keep going unfettered(DHS) the terrorist can just sit back and watch us implode.

Another blow to the small businesses.Big business will just charter flights or use their own jets, but the little guy's freight is just going to be delivered late.

you were correct about the rest.

No foriegn freight is allowed on an American commercial airline.

PS I also lost 2 pieces of beef jerky.(confiscated)

OVM: Jeez what did they think you were going to do with that beef jerky. It wasn't jerked camel was it. I can see them taking my knife. I forgot it was in my pocket, but jerky! that's going to far. Sure would have made for a nice inflight snack.

You must be referring to commercial passenger flights that carry small packages and overnight parcels and not airfreight in general.

Bryan you are right! The terrorists can sit back and watch us impede, inconvience and disrupt commerce and our daily lives all in the name of safety and security.
