And that just counts the taxpayers. Add in the losses of shareholders who stock is now worthless, and that number is significantly larger.

Well Layout, it is both administrations.

The loss from the IPO has been determined to be about $5B without adjusting it but once adjusted for interest and other costs to the tax payer, it is more or less $15B.

There is still talk about debt forgiveness and many are forgetting that Chrysler is working on their IPO which may be another big loss for the country. Fiat has made some pretty interesting 'demands' about it and they will get their way.

I can buy a Fiat, I may buy a Ford but screw GM and Chrysler and anyone who supports those two companies.

I don't think that I make any distinction between the Dumb-O-Crats or ReBumLiCans. They are ALL nothing more than armed thugs robbing the American people at gunpoint. What we have now is the Obama version of the robbery and the fact that the "buck" stops with him makes HIM the CURRENT "God Father" of the crime family known as the congress.

This is why we need small limited government....

Government isn't in business to bail out business. GM isn't fixed regardless of the bailout. The actual cause of the problem is still there.
