Up to date? Not a chance. The Space Shuttle looks at the Sprinter and goes, "Whew! I'm glad I'm not that complicated."
Here in VA, one of the items for a State inspection is that warm air from the defroster vents has to blow on the windshield. Not just while driving, but when vehicle is stationary. A JC Whitney 12v auxiliary heater (powered by cigar lighter plug, and sits on the dash) is not good enough. Tried that in an old VW Beetle. No bueno.
This is it . . . the big moment....
PASSED EMMISSIONS AND SAFETY!!!!
Went to pay, started it up . . . defroster blowing high...mechanic came to see, "How did you do that! We tried everything!" So he signed off on safety. Went to leave, blower shut off
Drove straight to e test as engine light was off . . passed with flying colors . . . pulling out of parking lot, engine light came on
All stuff I can fix in good time...
