Is it possible to convert straight trucks without sleepers to DOT approved sleepers, without going broke. It is difficult to find expediters in my area (Florida). Are these trucks tractors with a 24' box?

Sorry. I am applying for a carrier position with a company, there is no option for straight trucks. You have 48' van, 53' van, flat bed, step down, hot shot vans, hot shot flats. Those are the options. Not sure if my straight truck fits into the category of hot shot vans.

The description is for open trailer smaller trucks, but what if your choses are (hot shot flats) and (hot shot vans). It would appear to me that my straight trucks would fall under hot shot vans.

Cute. I don't have a problem paying for the load boards, and I have. The problem I have is paying and they don't have loads for my truck type. Most of the loads out of florida are refers, flat beds, 48' and 53'. I just want a load board that has loads for my truck.

Thank you. I only want to run local, so the plot gets thicker. I can't justify having an MC# and they are requesting it. On top of the fact that you have to pay to search the load boards to find out they have no loads for you.

Which load boards can you use to load 24 footers. Most of them want 48 to 53' trucks, or specialized: flat beds or refers. I have yet to find one that has loads for my trucks.

They are both dock high. They don't have sleepers, that I think is the major problem. Everyone I call says they need sleepers, some DOT rated.
