I would say Charles is pretty close to reality. But I understand where Lawrence is getting that information. A few nameless carriers will say that consistently but it is by design to really be translated to the drivers. Why? Because it is a tool/excuse to suppress rates to their own drivers.

It depends. If it is a pre-emissions engine it is pretty durable. If it is a 08 I believe or newer, then it could have some issues.

I would say Turtle's post accurately reflects how much of their dispatching goes. I would also concur in that we have never been "forced" to take a load that wasn't profitable.

That is expensive. I guess if you aren't making anything it would help but it would seem like you would have bigger problems if no income is coming in.

I couldn't tell you where you would rank. But you can take your numbers from Jan 1st to June 30th and see where your numbers fall for six months. At that point, you will likely have your answer.
