Fedex Flagship from MATS finally hits the road

The bridge law tables are in the front of my road atlas. But, for short, axles with standard spacing such as a set of tandems on a t/t are limited to 34k combined weight simply because of the distance from the centerline of one axle to the centerline of the other is less than 8 ft. Given...

Limiting it to 15k is a smart move. Unless that lift axle is spread at least 8ft from the drive, thats a 46k truck according to the bridge law...leaving exactly 15k

I think most are building their own setups. If Im not mistaking, a member by the name of "westmicher" builds and sells a rear swingout for the sprinter. Yours would probably be an easy variation if any variation at all.

Wow! Stuck in Texas for 3 days, gotta refuse loads down here from now on.

Bolt is famous for cheap load offers....especially the 50-60 cent per mile offers out of Laredo. Oddly enough, there are a couple of Bolt drivers here on the forums that seem to do well. I think Bolt was ChefDennis's previous carrier also.

Any one switch from a sprinter van to a gm or ford 3500 unecell single rear wheel van

I spent some time at the Buffalo, NY Unicel plant Tuesday. They made some repairs to the rear and side doors on my CargoMax. They are top shelf. The Toronto plant builds the CargoMax and they didn't do a good job with the doors at all. The guys in Buffalo did a great job of fixing them. Ive not...

100% agree. Ive said the same thing a few times. You can bet that the actual shipper is paying through the nose for exclusive use, dock to dock, straight through delivery.

Lol...so 55 cents/mile would be out of the question, but you would run it for 65 cents/mile? I guess that IS almost a 20% increase...lol. Gotta look on the bright side?
