The PA pike charges by weight, not height. It is frickin' expensive, tho. That's why I always go up 322 to State College and pick up 80. I don't use the Indiana Toll Road either; if I want a rough ride, I'll go into Michigan :p
I haven't posted in a couple days, have I? Oh well...
Monday night to Wednesday morning: Fort Smith AR to St Marys PA. Don't know why Kickstarter was afraid of the place :p
Wed to this morning: OOS in Pittsburgh for a little daddy-daughter time :)
Now: enrt to Minnesnowta for a Monday morning...
Ever have a load make you feel sick? I think this one might have done something to me. It was a front axle for a school bus, with a strong odor of grease from the ball joints. Add that to a questionable meal, and yesterday I felt like 40 miles of bad road. Now I feel better without the load in...
Lebanon, Ky to Tulsa for a Sunday morning delivery. Nice, calm 60 mph ride across Kentucky today, same thing hopefully across Mizzou in the morning. Enjoy your evening, folks :)
Would be great to meet you in person, but for some reason I am tired as heck tonight. Is it just me, or are the first few days back out really tiring? I was home for two weeks; guess I got accustomed to sleeping in a house instead of a vehicle
Now at J in Waddy, Ky. Last time I was here I got sicker than hell. I'll give them one more chance; if I get sick again, I'm calling the health department.
Yesterday: Denver, PA to Downers Grove IL. Now at Pilot in Minooka.
Update: run to Ky tomorrow. Now at Road Ranger in Hampshire for the evening, nearer to the pick.
Just had a recruiter tell me I need to take. 80 or even .75 to stay moving. Da hell? Says he keeps sprinters moving at .90 or less. Not sure about this...
My 50 cpm run, last Aug. Not just the price, but the sleeping behind the wheel on two nights, and the motel room from hell on the other night. Rookie learning curve was tight on that run
Same Maryland where the Pop Tart Gun episode happened. They were merciful to the child, though, only giving him a two-day suspension.
This teacher, though, is an adult, so off to the gulag he goes :(
Judge mentions "hearth and home" in her ruling, as if to say the Second Amendment gives us the right to defend ourselves inside the house. By that logic, once you leave your house you should be defenseless. Wow.
