    America's Mailbox, Box Elder SD

I hear good things about them, as well as the one I posted about. One trip to SD wouldn't hurt, IMHO; there's touristy stuff up there. Tags on the van would be $130, vs $153 in PA. No property tax either state. Also, SD doesn't have state income tax :)

Thanks, Scott. Wondering about the timeframe between applying online and getting the appointment.

Apparently, you can use their address as a physical address. It caters to rv'ers. You can get South Dakota plates, license, even register to vote. I've looked into it a bit, seems to be in conformity with SD law. I had Progressive do a quote; I would save over $800 by doing this.

Has anyone here used this service? Seeing as how I will soon be unhoused, I might need to use such a service.

I think we oughta applaud Westmicher for being willing and able to guinea-pig the Promaster for us :) . If we can find a guy/girl to do the same with a fleet of Transits, that would be awesome also :)

Furthermore, waiting to issue a violation notice past the point of easy resolution, is SOP up there. Just like getting a permit in NJ to buy a gun; the permit is issued the day after it expires.

Take it up with your EZPass issuer. Might take a while but they will help you straighten it out. In the meantime, pay cash at PANYNJ tolls. Other tolling authorities could care less about situations not involving them, especially if they don't have a close relationship with another authority...

    It is Septemeber...where R U?

My sweet, darling wife told me this morning that she had gotten slightly confused the last day or two, and thought it was October. I told her it couldn't possibly be any later than September, as I am in Minnesota and there's no snow yet :p Pilot, Inver Grove Heights.
