    You can keep your plan

I guess at this point it depends on whether they let people keep existing plans. That would be good in your situation. Bad news for Obamacare as that wrinkles the fabric of the whole plan.

    You can keep your plan

That isn't good if you can't use the coverage. Sadly, that will be the case for many. Anything we spend goes towards the deductible. We use the HSA for that. But there is no co-pay or anything like that. As for prescriptions, under ACA, I think some are covered if they are preventive. Ours...

    You can keep your plan

The old plans from Humana which we are on aren't available now because of Obomercare. We have a good plan with one caveat. Ours carries a high deductible but that is ok for us as we use a HSA with this plan so no pain with the deductible.

    You can keep your plan

Not really sure where that difference is compared to what we have. Although we don't have Blue Cross. It is Humana. We have to have a multi-state policy because of living in TN and FL.

    You can keep your plan

Like everyone, we got older and the rate did increase so it must be something in the policy?

    You can keep your plan

It doesn't have to have that if you had the policy prior to 2010 and they didn't change anything. Most changed something in their policy and have to insure according to ACA. That is why they are cancelling those types of policies. Our carrier said ours was "grandfathered" in.

    You can keep your plan

Not much you can do if the carrier elects to cancel it or it has had a policy change of some sort after 2010.

    You can keep your plan

Since we have had our insurance for quite some time we get to keep ours without all the goofy stuff added. For how long who knows but it is likely cheaper than anything in the exchanges because we don't have the add ons that we would never use. Kinda like a winning lottery ticket at this point...

    Hope for Youth?

Such a bummer. No hope for the youth afterall. ;) But I do like some of his observations. One of those "it is the thought that counts"

    Cat C7 white smoke

White smoke is a possible indication of burnt anti-freeze. Also condensation. In his case, the cat doesn't have glow plugs. It uses a heated intake

Got me thinking.....waive the fishing licenses and eliminate the welfare. Heck, why stop there. Buy them a fishing pole. Only have to buy that once and they are on their own. I kinda like it. I mean...they got nothing but time.

    Cat C7 white smoke

True.....but the guy told you to replace the harness. Thus.....it is electrical if it threw a code. If the pressure is extremely off at the injector, then it could throw a code but it would have to significantly change the fuel pressure at the pump which isn't too likely. But is a distant...

Then you likely can eliminate the harness since that is electrical. It won't pick up a bad injector, sleeve, or issue with the pump. A fuel pressure test and a cut out should give you your answers.

    Cat C7 white smoke

Is it throwing any kind of code? That would indicate a harness problem.

    Cat C7 white smoke

Not really. I would probably replace the harness. The connection can become weak over time. A cat will usually throw a code if it is the harness. Probably also want to check to make sure you don't have a cracked cup/injector sleeve since you are getting white smoke. Especially if it is doing it...

Thinking about husband/wife team straight truck

That would be your best bet as far as starting out. I wouldn't recommend starting in your own truck unless you really know what you are doing. Learning on your own dime can be rather expensive.
