The last statistic that I seen was that 48 percent of all people with a law degree are unemployed. Looks like future lawyers are trying to create some self & future employment.

And that basically sums it up. The whiners and complainers here have no idea what it is like on foreign soil in many places. They would have a much different prospective if they started looking around a little bit.

The only way to have gun control is to enforce the existing laws. Restricting them means nothing if a criminal can obtain them anyway. Strict prison sentences looks to be the only effective answer. Any of the other stuff is basically window dressing for democrats to raise tax money.

Affirmative action had its place and time but I agree, it really has no value at this point. In fact I would also agree that it hurts more than helps minorities at this point.

I'm not sure I would use Japan as a comparison. In the US, the "horse is already out of the barn". There are firearms readily available legally or illegally. Illinois has some of the toughest gun laws in the country yet crime and gun violence continue to rise. So there is your experiment...

No it really didn't. I don't think they knew how to respond. Not all, but a large number of African Americans still hate whites. So I would say racism still exists. Just look at politics. The "race card" is played on a regular basis when something doesn't go the democrats way.
