Where do you get this stuff? Under Obamacare they can only recieve a 15 percent profit. Anything over must be spent on patients or refunded. As for single payer (which the left wants) would be no different than SS or medicaid. Which of course are broke and due to run out of money. Maybe we can...

Umm......what you are witnessing as a drag on the economy is our debt. In case you haven't noticed, the democrats have had the majority for years now. Certainly started with Bush, but Obama has been a rolling disaster. Finally people are figuring it out. Just look at those ratings he has. You...

But what about the people who will get their unemployment cut right after Christmas?

I would not look to Wall Street folks for that answer. If you want to really know what we look like financially, look at how foreign investors and countries look at us. That is where you will find your answer.

Will check it out. Rising mortgage rates are only a component of inflation. There are numerous things that drive that number as to whether it goes up or down. Rising mortgage rates would only be a symptom. Wasn't me that said it would be the trigger. But....rising interest rates on government...

True.....the treasury is continuing to print money. That is why you have low interest rates. As you keep printing, the dollar goes down in value. They like to call that "Quantitative Easing"

I would debate the utilities and gas. Maybe down to the power companies, but certainly not down to the end consumer. Mine are higher in both TN and FL. As for gas, we have seen a lull for only a handful of months. It will likely go up because they are debating now about how to handle...

I agree. I don't think you can compare the US financial system to Greece. But...if we don't get the spending under some kind of control, we are most certainly going to have problems. And one can be assured, the "47 percent" will pay a heavy price. Just modest inflation and a devalued dollar...

That is a interesting angle. I could see where that might work. Or at the very least, increase the odds they can get some relief.
