Unless you’ve operated under your own authority before, there’s more to learn than you can imagine.

Having your own authority and little work is not a reason to not lease to a carrier. Unless you know the business, it’d be a great way to learn. Later you can be a partner carrier, utilizing your own authority.

Is there a reason you don’t lease on to a company until you have 5 trucks ? By then you’ll be better equipped to handle the issues of run on your own. And you’d probably have the income to sit home and operate it full time.

I’m usually pumped this close to the season opener. This year, not so much. I agree with Tony D. 3 minutes before kickoff is not the time to protest. And I hope they figure out what made Richie Incognito go off the rails. Sad story.
