Did a lot of checking .. it appears Rockauto is the supplier of choice. They ask about $85.00 for the units. The lady was nice enought to look at her returns, no one has ever returned them, so it appears they do fit, and work. Funny thing is, the tire dealer here can "see" the Monroe part...

At home ... gonna take a few days off ... back sometime next week .. no hurry to do it.

I checked .... not for a 2008 model .... Monroe makes them, but the only outlet, apparently, is Sprinter! ..... communist's! ;)

Since I have decided to retain the van, thought I might as well do some preventive maintainance work on it ..... So I merrily call my friendly Freightliner dealer for a price on 4 new shocks, installed. After the call was finished ... the smile had disappeared. $800.00 for parts, 4.5 hours...

I have IE9 .... and use Verizon wireless ..... but seems to me I am not the only person whining about slow page loads. I'll double check it tomorrow, when I am at home and on cable ...
