    Ice on Roof solution?

Ever been to a yellow freight terminal up north? they have a drive-under roof scraper. It is in the shape of a "v", and when a driver drives under it, the hard rubber scrapers scrape the snow off to the sides, letting it fall down the side of the trailer. As far as the ice itself is concerned...

    Things we thought everyone knew

A rubber glove does real well for getting hair off or carpet and upholstery. That is what the detailers use when cleaning a car.You can find a box of these at home depot of lowes pretty cheap. Also works great when polishing wheels or working on the truck.

    Freightliner/ Volvo

I have to agree with Dave on this one.I used to have a Kenworth t-300 and absolutely loved it.It was not the fanciest one out there, but it was a great truck in every aspect. And the dealer support was awesome.Everything was fixed right the first time. And yes, the majority of the mechanics were...

And while were talking about bathroom experiences here, please let me say that I find those toilet lid liners to be a pain as well. How many times have I carefully placed the liner on the toilet seat, turn around, and get ready to sit down, only to have the toilet self-flush before i sit down...

    $1500 a Month??

But one thing that is forgotten here.If the truck you are driving does not have an apu, and you are paying for the fuel, it can put you in the red real quick while idling the truck to stay warm and/or cool. And there is always the question of the fuel being used for relocating, deadheading, etc.I...
