    why is a CDL required?

The reason being; you're retarded. 4 years on July 22. Where did the time go?

    why is a CDL required?

Good points PJ. Also the CDL program was set up to establish minimum knowledge and skills standards and attempt to eliminate multiple drivers licenses. A large company that has more than 70% of it's drivers operating vehicles requiring a CDL probably find it simplifies things to require van...

    Things I Like about FECC

Some have claimed to be offended by this photo. I find it inspirational. The young lady to the left of center is obviously physically challenged. She may have been born without a body or had a terrible disease that required her body to be amputated. Yet she is clearly enjoying herself and...

Cutaway cargo van vs standard cargo van

A Spartan box is made of fiberglass reinforced panels (FRP). The box is taller and slightly wider than a standard van. This adds extra weight. Comfort items such as a bed, extra batteries and insulation add more weight. Personal gear, clothing, food, spare tire, jack, basic tools, E-track...

FSC-Why don't companies pay 100% of it to us?

Post 11 is where you inadvertently inserted your words in between two quotes of mine (invasion of blue space) that made it appear I was referring to myself in the third person. I agree. It went over my head a long time ago. I just don't know when to quit. As for a company not paying 100% of...

FSC-Why don't companies pay 100% of it to us?

Guido started it in post #11. Moot enjoys being an illeist and believes it gives his posts more credibility. Kinda like being an elitist, only spelled different.

FSC-Why don't companies pay 100% of it to us?

That's exactly the point Moot was trying to get across earlier in this thread. Unfortunately it was perceived by some as a moot point. Thanks Jeff. How do you know you are paid 100% of the f.s.c.? Since April 1, every load I have...oops, I mean, every load Moot has accepted has had a f.s.c...

FSC-Why don't companies pay 100% of it to us?

That's because Moot embraces and celebrates stupidity. He reaps what he sows. Guido, Moot wasn't arguing against an O/O receiving 100% of the f.s.c. He merely raised the question of why someone would lease to a company that didn't pay 100% of the f.s.c. Before Moot accepted the Cosmic Turtle...

FSC-Why don't companies pay 100% of it to us?

Do what? Also why did you insert "Youre missing the whole point here, Moot." into my quote? It appears as if I'm indulging in illeism. What point did Moot miss?

FSC-Why don't companies pay 100% of it to us?

Same reason they over charge for Qualcomm, insurance etc. Because they can! The question you should be asking is: Why do O/O's and fleet owners lease to companies that don't pay 100% of the fuel surcharge?
