    Canada Question for Canadians

Hi and thanks for replying...I read somewhere that you could use actual expenses or a simplified per mile deduction, which if I was allowed to use it, would eliminate the need for me to organize receipts and calculate expenses. It would also in my case make a bigger return as each 100 percent...

Had to zoom in on owners manual pdf, got an old blackberry..."Auxiliary Heater" now I'm really happy, I've been too cheap to idle for 10 years now :D thanks guys, I had no idea when I bought it! Why is it limited to 2 hours I wonder? (explains diesel smell from front I hit all the buttons...

Thank you...its 45 min away, got free storage and use of shop...was going by memory and it was a larger square on center console down low with digital readout flashing like an unset clock...It'd be awesome if I got a free diesel heater with that van :D

2005 Sprinter second and reverse only

Thanks I'm starting there I haven't even mentioned the brake, esp, abs, and wheel lights on, you're lucky you didn't take that one in - they'll tell you it's every module and sensor on the van...retired mechanic who kept his DS 708 lending it to me tomorrow :grinning:

Cargo Van Is there no future here?

If you have no debt it can be done. As cheap a vehicle a you're comfortable with, try to find out company that won't force you to buy after its 5 years old; I'm surviving by taking local courier type work as well; I don't wait around after a drop, but deadhead to the next available run/good...

    Sprinter Survival Kit?

I'd be ok with that if they stuck to that only, but yes...the most reputable shop I know (they don't let me do my own safeties) replaced the crank sensor because the computer told them to...I argued with the owner until we were both very unhappy but paid, 10 miles later same problem...looked it...

    Sprinter Survival Kit?

I agree with that, to a point. If they would stick to fixing an actual problem instead of milking you I could understand. I have never been to a dealership or shop (ever) where they have correctly diagnosed or recommended work that was actually going to just fix the problem. Part of that is...
