    True Confessions for truck drivers lol I have to say here I would have gone that low for a backhaul, just have never had to, fortunately Not to leave home though...i think...(clock is ticking last expedite run was about 10 days ago)

    Ok no responses, thanks to T270_Dreamin for the links...20k on interstates, 12k most other places so 12k it is...now should I get tandem axle or no? Planned use...all the expedite I can get with some bottom feeder locals and LTL off the bottom feeder boards...suggestions?

    Sorry, I missed that I was cutting a hot dog in half I don't really know who's side to take. I do know I had a bad week and have no money. But next week it might change. Start a garden and 90 days dry food supply I guess. Has it ever been any different in trucking?

    Let me know if you find anything useful. I heard they dont care about anything but the tag on the frame at a weigh station...so unless the id plate is changed, what it came with is whats legal...how to load it so the front is legal is what I need to know as well

    Just saw a nice 1997 Peterbilt 410 hp with 20k front and 40k rear, no rust anywhere...not sure what to do with the big PTO sticking out of the middle of the frame (guessing was garbage truck)

    What are you running and why? I like the prices on the Class 7s but I think a tag axle Class 8 would be more flexible. Looking specifically at a 2004 International with these specs GVW 54000 Hendrickson suspension 14000 front axle air ride 40000 rear axle 256 wheelbase. 26 ft Multivan insulated...

    Yep training starting at 599, they will come to you, which helps. Looks to be like a fair amount of overhead for a van driver to switch between insurance, mpg, plating, road taxes etc. At 1.45 a mile doesn't seem worth it...providing any van deliveries come up before I go bk again

    Going to be a "vintage" straight. Why? The whole point of the van is the advantages of being non-regulated. At 7 hours driving this week (3.5 of that deadheading) there ARE NO advantages
