where can I get a tvale truck

I would have a lot of doubts. As you found out, when you start running those numbers through the calculator, picture isn't so good. Might gross a little more, but that is much different than what you might be actually keeping. You will know they are a profitable option when you see dealers...

    Another of Obumma's Supporters Disenchanted

I think he was a little more interested this week in playing golf.

    Independent contractor no more?

Worse case for fleet owners would be a replacement of a drivers contract with that of a reoccurring truck lease/management services contract. Drivers could incorporate or whatever and that would eliminate any issues in that current bill if it was to pass as written. This is currently in practice...

    Fed dropping its standards?

I don't know Phil? Look at the title of this thread and the first post from a former Fed driver. I think it is more about individual perception which could be applied to many companies both good and bad.

    How do YOU represent?

Clean with a professional attitude would be my vote. Sometimes being identified with a group can work against you. Just depends on what ones perception of that company is. Some may have had difficulty with the Fed, Panther, or even UPS. We constantly use to hear of problems with Roadway or...

    Fed dropping its standards?

After doing this as long as we have, we have been with numerous carriers over the years including the Fed, and I can't recall one instance that we got unloaded ahead of another expedite company unless we had a earlier appointment time. Ahead of another truckload carrier, yes. That is more likely...

Caterpillar claims C9 unsuitable to task

Your warranty issues seem to be regional. We had a huey pump go out and wiped out several injectors but had no issues with it getting covered under the warranty. Paying only 45 percent baffles me. We have a 750k warranty and this happened around the 450k mark.

How Will California Budget Woes Affect Expediters?

Close. I believe one requires the customer to have a filling station and the other one doesn't.

where can I get a tvale truck

I did get the opportunity to drive one several years ago with no reefer or anything, and was less than impressed. But it would explain why he is trying to sell it.

That was my thought on the 10/4 item but I thought it was too obvious.

where can I get a tvale truck

With all the weight of a reefer and box, how does a 260HP Hino even go up a hill unless the co-driver is out pushing?

You're doing a heckuva job, Brownie...

That is almost funny. Who would believe any opinion written by a Kennedy? Probably should look for a more credible source on that one.

Fed Ex $1,000 sign on ad

If they cut your percentage, I wonder if all their trucks get a grand for retention? Might pay to sign off and then sign on.

I think you are right on that one. Pretty tough to roll the concrete down A1A.

    ATeam's Florida Investment

We have went through several hurricanes and most the mobile homes get pretty trashed, and that is if you could find them. We went with "concrete is your best friend".

    Why?

Gotcha. Can't say personally whether they are or aren't but their revenue out of that division has increased every year. I thought maybe there was something there that I wasn't aware of.
