Thanks for the input. We are thinking about it flying home. We would have to DH from L.A. to Monroe, MI. Plane tickets are much less than the fuel for that drive not to mention the wear and tear and the 3 days.

If you drive on the road, you pay a tax. That is how we pay for roads. It is really simple, everyone pays or no one does. You are more than welcome to find another way to pay for the roads but as long as we pay a fuel tax, everyone pays.

It is NO different than a fuel tax that is used to pay for roads. The electricity is their fuel of choice. They should pay their share, they are using the roads. OR. Do away with the fuel tax. It they don't have to pay for their share, I should not have to either. Simple and neat. No pay, no play.

I don't care what people drive. It must meet all state requirements to be street legal, have a license plate and pay road taxes on the electricity they use to power it. No freebies for anyone.
