We are a White Glove TVAL truck and have more than once been offered loads in the .50cpm. Nothing new there. We turn them down. That is just how it is.

I am in the sleeper or off duty at all times when not truly working or driving. I have no idea what DOT REALLY thinks about it. Don't really worry about it either.

I have not doubt that this was set up for him. That way he would look more like a "regular guy" instead of that snobby guy that looks down his nose at everyone all of the time.

I don't ever count time in between runs as "on duty". That would be silly in many cases. Like the 81 hours in L.A.. If that were the case we would have had to done a 34 hour reset without ever starting the truck engine.

Yes, OVM is the "FreightMaster" without a doubt. Often it seems to be luck, and sometimes is. In most cases when we sit it is because we made a mistake. Going to a slow area etc.

Slow? We don't see it being slow. We have had two slow days due to a over population of trucks in L.A. This year has been good for us so far. I guess it is a matter of perspective.

Addicted? To a cell phone? To a computer? They are just tools or toys. I doubt that we are all addicted to a bunch of tools. That would be like being addicted to a hammer. At least, that is how I look at it.
