BUT then again..Of it weren't for this ROE crap..we could blow the snot out of them and get this over with!!!
That is how I would handle it. Fight it, win it, end it. Then deal with what is left. It worked in WWII, it will work now. The heck with what anyone else thinks. How everyone else thinks lead us to this problem. If the U.N. (useless nuts) were worth a flip, THEY would be after the terrorists, instead of ignoring them or backing them as they do.

But it wouldn't work in the middle east, here's why;
1- the world press is not too keen on wars, they are at this moment against any wars that they can't control while ignoring other situations like Darfur and somolia.
2 - our press has a free hand in publishing secrets and sure enough as CNN has proven, the enemy will know what's going on before the orders are handed down - because of their rights under the first amendment.
3 - the world was at war, there was a difference in ideologies and terror than there is today. We will never see the world divided and combined as we did in the past - the UN has done away with that by their existence.
4 - many of the countries, even the coalition countries are afraid of the Muslims, look how Spain reacted to the bombings - it swayed an election.

Then are you saying that there is no hope? That we are doomed to the attack that is coming our way?
