    Would like to keep to etrack just inside the 48inch zone, if possible. More storage, more better right. Good idea regards weight and stress on the deck.

    The boards that run the length of the power deck frame is where I'm thinking of installing the new etrack. So the cargo is strapped to the deck and the deck is bolted to the floor.

    Our cranking batt was down, so the book got checked and it stated do not use fast charging devices. A reason was not given, would hate to fry the electronics buy jump starting with a booster.

    Has anyone found out for sure that a late model vehicles can not function after a EMP event? Seems everything Ive read about computer controlled vehicles left some question as to survivability. Weatherer it was running or not, the batt was switched off. Can it be determined with certainty?

    So, I love how one question leads to another. I am still trying to find the most workable layout for my wife and I in a 170ext. Is your setup normally 3, 48 by 40 skid capable, with out stacking? We are getting closer to pulling the trigger on this thing.

    That's why I am wondering how many van loads require more then eight and a half feet of floor space. The weight needs to allow for tipout's, tubs or Jacuzzis, he he. Just from lurking on here it seam's shippers are building more loads to sprinter size and weight with out permit sleeper space...

    Thanks Paullud, I found some info on the DOT website. 391.45 is the rule that seam's to cover my condition. Called my Doc that did my last health card, we will see how he interprets the rule. Read that it may be two months before i can get a new card, hope I'm wrong.

    Could it be that some sprinters look overloaded or tail heavy because the load is not balanced between the axles? I would think a 170ext. with 1,750 lb on the back would be a hand full. How sensitive are they for load placement?
