We will be home for Thanksgiving AND Christmas. NO work is worth not spending time with family. Spent FAR too many holidays, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and funerals working, it was not worth the loss.

It's called getting colder than hell over night! It went down to 12. It was colder that a tiches wit!! That is, however, that fastest I have ever seen that much ice form in 16 hours. That was with a heavy wind, which normally retards ice formation. It's ALGORES fault.

We will stay home. We have stayed out in the past and ended up in motels or at truck stops for the entire 4 day weekend. The only time we were not at a truck stop or motel was the year we did a DH out of Alaska. Our food is also FAR better than anything you will EVER find out on the road.
