    Tri-State

We had a truck on with them last year and yes they lost their GM contract. GM now just posts loads on the internet and companies bid on them. Unless they have changed, they pay usually around a dollar a mile and 20 cents deadhead after the first fifty. We left because they pay only HHG miles...

RE: class 8 trucks(DaveKC) If I didn't have to haul freight I would have added a pool table and a hot tub. (hahha) Hey Lawrence, love the cartoon!!!

    M2 problems

I think that the a/c issue on INT. were on the first year of the new model. I know Alumi-bunk does a conversion on them but I don't know how they change the a/c system. Dieseldiva & Doggiedaddy have one I think.

    Questions for Weave

Sometimes you have to be creative. Our truck was bought as a three month old repo. However, it use to be a race car hauler. Had to change the freight box and add landing gear. Took one of our old FL70's and put a tow body on it, and now I haul lumber in Florida with it. That is the one the has...

    M2 problems

For what it is worth, we had simular problems with Freightliner of Houston. We had numerous a/c problems that they failed to correct. Alot of downtime for the same repair. Our team had taken it out and it quit again in Dothan Al. They found out that the parts were recalled parts. When we...

    class 8 trucks

RE: class 8 trucks(DaveKC) Yes that was us in Ontario. Is your TV system still working? We had the winegard system but never got it to work correctly. It was installed by camper world. Still on the lookout for a trouble-free system. In defense of camper world they unsuccessfully tried to fix it...

What kind of annual Gross can a "D" unit expect to

RE: What kind of annual Gross can a forgot to mention; we can't speak for every company, but in the last 10 years we have never had a problem with freight in or out of S.C.

What kind of annual Gross can a "D" unit expect to

RE: What kind of annual Gross can a If you are going to drive single, be prepared for new hos rules. They will greatly change your income. I agree with Rich M. that those above numbers are not realistic. If I were a single driver I would stay away until everyone can see what impact it will...

    CAT 3126

RE: Expediter engines sorry to hear about your isc cummins. Many of your problems have been experienced by others. You are right, that if the C9 is a $5,000 option, I would have serious thoughts myself. As far as the 3126, yes, if you are a west coast runner, a 3126 is not the motor you want to...

    CAT 3126

Any idea on when they are going to make this available? I wonder how much different they will make it for the truck market. They did say they can make alot of computer changes, which may or may not be a good thing. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Hi Someone was asking me about C&M and I didn't know anything about them. Do you drive for them or All-state. Couldn't remember who you drove for. They don't have internet so I told them I would check. Thanks

    CAT 3126

you seem to have as much luck with cummins as I have with cats. With the maintenance I spent on our old cummins I could have bought a new truck. They make a good rebuildable block but the rest of it is junk. Our local kenworth dealer won't sell the smaller ones for this reason. They say it is...

    CAT 3126

I don't know, I think I will take my 900000 miles on a 3126. I will agree they are not what one would call a rebuildable engine. But easy figuring tells me the "$12 to 15,000 to buy new beats the same amount over a shorter period of time for countless repairs and considerable downtime on a...
