See how that washer turned purple? That got hot. Bad connection. These connections look like :censoredsign:. Clean all of that up. There's a ground wire on the left rear of the cab that goes to the frame. Sand both points until they are bare metal.

I'd check all of your battery connections and the ground wire on the left rear of the cab to the frame. This connection has paint behind it, and all of the paint needs to be removed and the wire bolted to bare metal.

What condition are your batteries? All of these things can be set from low voltage, including a battery disconnect too soon after turning off the ignition. Ground wires, in particular, can give numerous problems. With that said, I think you have a different issue. The codes you are showing me...

    Another saga begins this week

Good luck on your quest. A forum member is at my house at the moment with his truck. We pulled the head, replaced all the injector cups, and torqued the head back on before it started raining. Hopefully we'll be done around noon tomorrow. My driveway looks like an EPA superfund site.

    The 70's and Vietnam

I graduated high school in 1997. In the 12 year span I was in grade school, Vietnam was addressed exactly zero times. I recieved a very :censoredsign:ty score.

Finally, someone offers me a steak! The upper section of the link is arguably more important because it's much hotter there. If you can see the center section of the turbo from the top, the top link is about an inch toward the engine, and an inch down, approximately. A couple-second burst...

Epiphany. Check the oil pressure sensor. While its common for the oil cooler to leak, the oil pressure switch sometimes fails. It will continue to function, but an internal seal can blow allowing oil to leak straight through it. It dumps directly on top of the filter. It's not a frequent...

    Hino turbo

How many miles are on the truck again? These turbos have finite lifespans. @coalminer is one of a few to successfully swap a VNT without calibration issues.

Completely hose the engine down with cleaner, get a good flashlight, run the engine and look. I tend to use 3-4 cans of brake cleaner while doing this.
