RDC, did you ask the recruiter, or whomever you spoke with at the company, if they can give names of current or past drivers you could talk with? Their response to the question would be an indication of their belief in themselves, at least. Also, seek out their drivers, wherever you can find...

There is a mall in Pittsburgh, (West Bethel, I think), where the loading dock for Sears is in the parking garage. Sitting at the light, on a steep hill, waiting to turn in, you can't even see anyplace to go once you get in - to the left, there's a parking lot studded with islands a t/t can't get...

Jayman, you asked what I want: I want people, myself included, to have access to jobs that allow us to pay for what we need. That includes taxes for the common needs, and our own individual needs: housing, upkeep & repairs, food, clothing, medical/dental care, transportation, upkeep & repairs...

Moot, getting old is a lot better than the alternative...especially if you're getting wiser, too.:)

It is a truly sad, and scary thought, that health care, higher education, home ownership, and savings accounts for retirement & emergencies, have become luxuries for so many people who work to support their families. Jobs that pay a living wage are pretty scarce these days, and even combining...
