Summer is a great time for salad, and I like to toss one up in a plastic bag, from which I can scoop out a cupful (I mean a BIG cup, lol) to snack on while driving. Adding some popcorn chicken or other bite sized meat makes it a good dinner, too, that doesn't need much else in the way of a 'side...

Those runs are hotshots - I did a bit of it when I lived in New Orleans. Mostly parts needed for urgent repairs to the oil rigs, and small enough to be hauled even in a 4 wheeler.

One of the best sources of good ideas are other folks' vehicles, and most are happy to show them off, if you're polite about it. In all the equipment lists, don't forget a basic atlas! :) PS A copy of "The Next Exit" (available at Flying J for around $15) is an excellent resource as well.

My point was that even if I told the absolute truth, (and some drivers don't), the info would be meaningless, due to the huge number of variables involved. I feel comfortable referring them to EO, where they can learn everything they might want to know, from the whole spectrum of expediters...

I've never asked, because the answer wouldn't matter, if another LEO said it was the opposite, another time. I think the ambiguity is deliberate - "truck" being whatever the LEO on scene says it is, ya know? It's aggravating, but 'better safe than sorry', or risk a speeding ticket, seem to be...

Dude, if all you need to find is WalMart, they sell an atlas for $5.00 that lists every location within a mile or two if the interstate. :) The Nuvi 200 has helped me find everything for a year now, (I keep the volume muted, though), and the only reason I'm upgrading is to play audiobooks...

When I signed on with Polly Express, (April 2007), I asked if they'd like some 'free publicity', because of the tremendous influence of EO, but they said they preferred to remain small, and I respect that. I'm happy there, as a small carrier is a better fit for me - we try our best to help each...

I just say that what I make is none of their business, and if they want to know about expediting, to check out Expediters Online, where they will find a wealth of info & opinions.:)
