    If I have a concern

This is just supposition, but it may be that at least some have contacted their carrier (or tried to) with an issue, and remain unsatisfied with the response, or lack thereof. As we all know that most carriers keep an eye on what's said here, perhaps it's just another way of addressing an issue...

    SlushBusters Work!

By the time I get to SW Pa to pick mine up, I bet the windshield will be nice & warm, sigh..... Great photo, Phil, thanks for sharing.

    Rls

I guess it's different for different folks - it didn't hurt any, when I had it (rarely). If it had, I'd have been looking for relief, posthaste! Glad you found it, though.

    An expediters prayer

It's harder to wait When the cold winds blow When the temperature is always "Something" below I shrink from the cold Staying inside I eat, drink, sleep, & read And slowly lose my mind. Course, when I get a load Going way down south Then I'll talk out of The other side of my mouth.....;)

    tip the mechanic??

I think that would qualify as a 'random act of kindness' and I am very much in favor of those. :)

    Rls

Ink's leg cramps are different from the RLS syndrome - hers are the kind we all have after abusing the calf & foot muscles with the truck pedals, the dreaded 'charley horse' and a steady diet of potassium does help avoid them. The Prof's RLS doesn't seem to be related to anything you do...

strange people knocking on your door

Train horns are pretty good at scarin folks off, and on a cargo van, it'd be freakin hilarious, too.

strange people knocking on your door

After rereading it, I think we should take pity on Moot, and explain that women get a sofa in the restrooms because some need a place to sit while feeding an infant. A private place, because the sight of a breast in public just freaks some of them out, ya know?

strange people knocking on your door

Hello yourself - and welcome. It's great to lure the lurkers out from the shadows & into the light, uh huh. And now I want to reread the thread myself, because you're right: there IS a lot of good stuff here. Now, feel free to add some of your own, ok? :)

"To everything there is a season", and this is a season of overwhelming sadness and grief. Hoping the season of joy returns to bless you and yours soon...

    The way it SHOULD be.

It's precisely because I gotta laugh that I'm so fond of Moot, Turtle, Highway Star, Mr Goodtude, even Iceheadtrucker cracks me up, usually. WHAT flood? All I can see is snow everywhere....:(

Shooter: suggesting we "get rid of the lawyers" is quite unreasonable, as you yourself recently suggested suing over the mislabeling of biodiesel fuel. Those lawyers sure come in handy when you get ripped off by some faceless corporation, eh?

    My Sprinter Baby

I want to say "You two (Ken & Juju) deserve each other" but that's generally used to describe unpleasant people - I don't know why, because don't good people deserve each other too? So anyway, I think you two good folks deserve each other, and "long may you run". :)

    Hey Cheri

Kenzie is just peachy, except she doesn't seem to enjoy the very long rides, though she'll at least lie down on the passenger seat now, instead of dozing off with hear head drooping. :( She doesn't need to log, her job is security, exercise, and generally looking adorable, which she does...

Endless obama when the 22nd is repealed

My sense of adventure gets fulfilled from driving a truck solo, thank you. The day EO needs deliberately offensive posts to be interesting is the day I find another sandbox to play in. We have been much better than that, IMO, even when we disagree. If I enjoyed offensive content, I'd watch...

Endless obama when the 22nd is repealed

If I did as Turtle suggested and used my own words, I can promise you, I would offend the majority of those here in one form or another, and for the most that would be intentional on my part after I found out your position, if it differed from mine. As was said in another post my another...

Turtle: how do you know that the percentage you're getting is higher than stated on the pump?

    ?s about western U.S.

As home for me is NE Ohio, I seldom have to DH very far - but I'd set the limit at around 150 miles for going home, more if I've been out for a long time, less if not. You just have to take it on an individual basis, there aren't too many hard rules about it, ya know? It's always a judgment call....

Bio fuel in IL & IN

Last week, I fueled at the TA in Hampshire, then headed to Iowa, and ran into a problem with water in the fuel filter. Didn't need a tow, just a filter change & a couple bottles of Diesel 911, but it's good to know things before getting fuel, not after having a problem with it.

    Arctic Blast!!!

And I thought he was just a drummer - or is it bass player? I'd thank him for the music, but climatologist? You're way over my head here (no 'short people jokes!) so please elaborate on 'Climatology for dummies", ok?
