And I was able to put up another 6 quarts from the cukes that were dangling on the vines when I pulled them out. So total now is 88! And I've got more tomatoes ripening on the kitchen table..by tomorrow I should be able to make more salsa. :)

Their bulk mail is the only thing keeping the post office afloat..First class mail has been down the tubes since the internet.

cuke vines pulled...dill pulled..and it's hot out there! Got this big empty spot in the middle of the garden now....looks good..means less work...*lol* oops...time to water! Guess they call it Labor Day for a reason......

Greg..UPS gets lazy out here and if it's under 50 pounds, they drop if off at the post office and we still have to go pick it up.

70 + 12 = 82...plus the half dishpan full of cukes that I pulled this morning when I yanked all the cucumber vines...now I'm ripping out all the dill. not a bad haul for the season...82 jars of pickles this year and about 7 still left from last years crop of 90+. Pickle lovers UNITE!:D

Of course it is...and a wise man would zip his lips about now...cuz you WILL be outnumbered..*winking at DD*
