And it's 32 degrees here this morning. Need to hose off the deck one more time and try to get that stain on...and then roll up all the hoses and store them..

I probably won't...there's a LOT of mulch in one bale...all I have left to do is the front flower beds...and I've already started on one. I have to cut those purple flowers down to mulch that one, but the rest of the beds are ready. Might have to store the extra either in the garage or shed...

After I get that second cup...still have 3 bales of mulch to put down and an afghan to work on..kinda balances the day eh? :)

I'm doing good to master the English language! And I just put up the LAST of the tomatoes.. And my spud man is on the way home to dig up the potatoes. and till up the garden! And I've got some very ripe canteloupes out there judging by the wasps and the bees that are covering them. Guess...

Hopefully someone that can handle the I29 corridor...from Fargo, ND all the way down to KC. There's a lot of smaller shippers out here and that would alleviate the "get the heck outa KC" thinking. The eastern Dakotas, Kansas and Nebraska and it would pick up western Minnesota and Iowa.

I'm thinking a salesperson in St Louis, KC area..or a broker for the western states..might not be the volume of Michigan, but there's money to be made over here too! *waving at John*;)

Ron..the one thing I know is that your luck can turn on a dime..the first of the week and the first week of the month are generally slower, but you're in a great area for freight so it's just like they say...all it takes is that starter trip and you'll get on the roll!:)

So today I planted something...felt good...*lol* Just filled in some grass patches and covered it with hay and watered it well. When I walked by the canteloupe patch I see they're getting ripe..oh...when shall I pick them all????:confused:
