I can wait no longer..tooooooooo many tomatoes..time to start! Ken brought home a packet of Mrs. Wages salsa mix..might as well try that one first..then off to the cukes ...and if I've got anything left..flower garden clean up!:)

Actually I think it's the vinegar in the pickle juice that's good for you. My dad used to mix up a concoction of apple cider vinegar and honey and drank it on a daily basis. And if I have a sore throat..I'll gargle some olive juice..I think the salty brine feels wonderful and tastes pretty...

Dang...is that what the missus cooked up today? and here I'm settling for a garden goulash...yellow, green, banana and jalapeno peppers, onions, shallots and tomatoes...mixed in with some Italian sausage and macaroni and cheese..and it's smelling REAL good in here!:)

Don't have to now...it was in the mid fifties last night and barely hit 70's by noon. so while I was riding the mower around the garden...those flashes of red on my tomato plants mean it's going to be a busy day. Might as well pick those cucumbers that were laying there grinning up at me...
