Umm... do you even follow the issues, Godslove? You're way off base here. Grandholm posing as a Republican? HA!!! Do yourself a favor and educate yourself. Go to both the Republican and the Democrat websites and read their mission statements. Then go to the Socialist party website and read...

C&M is only taking on teams, last I heard. Polly, Transtewart, and RJR are three companies that are solo friendly.

Looks like Chuck Baldwin for me. No picking lesser of two evils here. I'd rather sleep well at night.

    3% of trucking capacity GONE

Agreed! One thing the American lemmings don't know about the Congress that promised lower gas prices when they were elected in 2006... if they voted TOMORROW to allow drilling in ANWAR, prices would go down TOMORROW. To give them credit, the Repubicans failed to do so as well, thanx to the...

I remember that restaurant. Good food! It's a shame it's gone, like the Giant down in Gallup, NM... also taken over by Pilot along with Grandma Screwjob's restaurant.

If you're on exit 1 on 84, you're in Sturbridge. There are a couple restaurants (some kind of chicken and a Roy Rogers) on the other side of the freeway from where you're at. Suck it up and hang tight for the weekend if you're worried... the Pilot ain't so bad. Sturbridge is a heckuva drive...

Sprints, Cargo's - Did something change overnight

Regardless if it's true or not, he showed the mentality that has caused a lot of the overflow in the van sector. The idea of easy money, etc. Maybe CTX heard how "easy" that money was, and adjusted their van rates to reflect the supply and demand of ppl wanting the easy road in life. Not saying...

    Another side of independence

Don't worry, Charles. It was probably bid on someone who's wife was complaining about the driver not being home, and he bid .63/mi on it. You wouldn't have gotten it anyways. ;)

    You've been where?

Delivered audio equipment for Daughtry where he was performing at the Great American Rodeo in Dallas. Just recently dropped some stage props at Sony Studios for something called the Pangaea Day Event. The set up looked pretty cool.

    What a goof up I did !

Now you're singin the QC blues. :D Being that they had no dh miles to the shipper, it appears they were trying to con you, and it worked. I'm guessing it was picking up in Cambridge, OH? Plus, the first thing that would've set the load alarm off in my head is that it was only a 646 mi load to...

    19,000 more Expediters?

They'll buy the nice, new trucks, find out they can't do it, and quit or go into the red. Then, the industry will be flooded with nice, new trucks for sale, and the smart ones will snatch em up for pennies on a dollar. :)
