6/1 My sweet potato plants came in the mail today...going to try to get them planted as soon as I can get into the garden! Meanwhile the roots are soaking up some water as they get pretty dry in shipping.

5/30 Another inch and a half in the rain gauge this morning..and it's still coming down. According to weather.com 3.3 inches in the last 7 days..at this rate I won't have to water the garden for a month!

Rainy morning here..again! Good morning all! Got an inch plus in the rain gauge already and it's supposed to rain for a couple more days. Hear they've got some floods and overflowing creeks in the Hills.

5/29 Had to reseed the cilantro and put all the herbs out on the deck.

Both the peonies and the Iris's look to be about ready to bloom!:)

In my yard just waiting for the iris's and peonies to open their pretty heads!:)

5/28 got my sweet potato row hoed again and put the banana peppers at the front of the row. and it's a MOW day for sure as the next 4 days are promising more rain.

Honest to God I just grabbed the first thing I got my hands on...I used a shelf...*LOL*

I just walked outside after all the rain we've had and it's emerald green everywhere I look...it's magnificent!

Ken's killed a couple rattlers around here too..man he was upset when he lost the rattles...*lol*
