No...on second thought...fence in the garden and turn them loose in there..they'll eat all the bugs and add a little fertilizer. I've actually thought of doing that with some chickens but then when the season ends I'd probably have named the chickens and couldn't eat them...:p

It's a mite cool today so think I will spend the time going to town to get my annuals for the deck planters.:)

Out here spring is also unpredictable.. I guess it's just the nature of the beast.

wow..looks like everyone is driving or chilling...quiet afternoon in here. Me...I've been playing in the garden...big surprise eh? which brings to mind the age old question.. does a tree make a sound if it falls in the woods with no one around?

4/28 just turned off the water and took a good look at the garden ..spinach and collards and a few shallots are poking up! :D
