Dang baby snakes keep finding a way into the basement...this is the second one I've killed and it sure didn't look like a garter snake! Sure hope it didn't bite one of the cats cuz they were sure playing with it!

My great Uncle Gustav Smith KIA in WW1. And my father, Forest Bryce White, WW2. He made it home with a purple heart and several other medals from shrapnel and always had one leg shorter than the other because of it. And a classmate, Leo Aukland was killed in Vietnam. Thank You!

Got all the mowing done yesterday and then I refilled the bird feeders and bird baths. I was admiring my handiwork this morning and saw this young rabbit eyeballing the birds. It's kind a rare sight to see a rabbit on the lawn with all my killer cats so I was enjoying the spectacle. Just hope...
