    Closing arguments on Anthony trial

And still others who can perjure themselves and continue being president.

Living in a Politically Correct World.

Here's my answer to that... Proud to be Christian? Merry <bleepin> Christmas! Proud to be Straight? Go back to Uranus! Proud to be White? WHITE POWDER! I mean POWER! <snort> Proud to be Married? And you're jealous of me having a ball and chain? Proud to be Dad? And you're jealous of me having...

    Only in California...

Blah blah blah. Just for you, we'll have "Codebreaker History" and "Throw the Bums Out History". How's that, Nancy? :p

    Only in California...

Right... it makes no difference if he was gay or a circus clown. In fact, there are many more people who are relevant to our history than Turing. What about Ross MacLean, writer of the "Too Fat Polka"? Robert Kearns, inventor of the intermittent wipers? Or Dave Anderson, owner of Famous Daves? I...

    What would you ask?

IOW, college was cheaper when only those who could afford it, or work for it, could go. Face it... college shouldn't be a right. And not everyone who goes should be there. There are a lot of idiots in this country, and college is not helping them get any brighter.

    What would you ask?

Darn... you almost figured out my original question. :D

    What would you ask?

Like Chef, I shouldn't really say what question is on my mind. It has to do with our 2nd Amendment rights, and something about something else. So, I'll be nice... Do you really walk across the Potomac like your followers think you do?

BillChaffey... I got what you mean. Sorry for misunderstanding.

    Closing arguments on Anthony trial

My statement was that if the prosecutors (not just in this case) would stick to facts, rather than tug at the heartstrings of the jurors, there would be fewer innocent people landing in prison. JMHO.

barry trys to step on States Rights Again..

Now I can't agree with that. There is such a thing as being wrongly tried. If I were, in another country, I would want to talk to my consulate. However, not all countries have a court system like the US. Some have systems where you don't get to prove your innocence, and have no jury. What TX...

barry trys to step on States Rights Again..

IMO, if it's that important an issue, it should've been done in Obama's first year (read - when he had both houses). But being Washington, they wait until the 11th hour, then blame the TX governor. Sorry... Mr Garcia's life must not be that important then... nor the treaty. Well, I see one...

    Closing arguments on Anthony trial

As gruesome as this case might have been, I have to take my hat off to the jury. They went against public pressure to convict, and decided the case on FACTS, or lack of them. They did exactly what their conscience and the law told them, and put their feelings on the back burner. In the end, the...

    UR CRAZY no mt $$

That's right. Expediting is different than OTR in that DH does not get paid the same as loaded; and that there is usually a grace of 50 or 100 miles DH. That is one of the things drivers "eat" in expediting. However, detention starts a lot sooner than in OTR. So I would say it's a wash. Just do...

Did the sky turn orange up by you? Around the downriver area it turned bright orange after the storm. Nearly blinded me!

    $1.40 per mile?

I would argue that you would be making as much, if not more, with a 1000 miler at 1.40, than you would doing 2-500 milers at 1.60. You have twice the number of stops. And we all know time is money. If both are alike in how good the destination is, I'll take the 1000 miler.

    who's happy

Sometimes it does. But Friday, I said no 3 times... MI to PA, MI to KY, and Toledo to Chicago... all for Tuesday. The yes I said definitely sped up life... to the tune of 1000 miles. Now I'm looking forward to another good run. Kansas has always been kind to me.
