Since it is the terrorist new weapon of choice, I would have reservations of one in the truck. Especially doing any kind of military/government loads. Imagine a border crossing and they are doing the x-ray scan. Might clear out a parking lot.

From a carrier standpoint, a larger concern would be that if you are comfortable talking to dispatchers in that fashion, it is likely that same person will talk to a customer that way. Some just don't have the ability to articulate themselves very well.

If the escrow is $1000, how did you make all of your escrow back? Lets say your rate is .77 plus FSC, they only advance on the linehaul. So, .77 x say 1800 miles 1386. But you can only get .55 percent of the linehaul. That would be 762.30. Panther might take you up on that. And that is assuming...

Whew....I am glad he didn't say he was doing this for a living. .62 a mile would be painful if he was.

Just one of the absolute beauties of a "central dispatch" system. No need to get worked up over anything. If I don't like the answer or attitude, I hang up on them and call back and someone else answers. "No fuss, no muss".

That would be my take. Probably the same reason that a carrier like E-1 maintains their rates to customers but cuts the rates and revenue to drivers. Have to think they studied this a little ahead of time. As the economy improves a little, the specific side of expediting remains soft...

They would be our fleets choice as well. And you can't beat the fuel discounts we get by using them. Drivers save a considerable amount verses locations with just a nickel or something.

I could see needing some. Blizzard's diet seems like quite a bit with the goal to lose weight. But I will admit, I know nothing about the Adkin's diet or whether it even works. Jenny Craig, nutri-systems, there are so many.

I'm hardly a diet guru but I see all kinds of red flags with your diet. Seven eggs? I would think one or two would be enough. Bacon and cheese are generally no-no's if trying to lose weight I would think? Hamburger probably should be replaced with fish or turkey and mayonnaise is straight fat...

There you go.;) My guess is he tried to collect it prior to the release date. Usually 45 days. It will say right in his contract. Whether he had charges against it for QC or fuel tax would be subtracted from the total.
