Freight does come out of Fort Wayne but I don't know your carrier. Take the whole mileage and times it by your rate and tell them you will run it for that. Doesn't seem to be picky. Only you know what it costs to move your vehicle. If it isn't profitable, no point in really bothering with it.

I certainly think there are drivers that live dollar to dollar. I am not disputing that. Undercapitalization is what causes the highest failure rate in expediting. And the owner may be tired of dealing with broke drivers. If some are sitting for extended periods of time, he probably hears it...

I agree with some of what you say until you get to the "anyone can sit for ten days". Ummm....no. Doesn't mean some don't, but you can't hang it all on the driver if the carrier is failing to produce.
