    Box on straight truck-length/height

Greg's post on "Bumper to Back of Cab" (BBC) is how I've always understood it. I wasn't sure if it was standard or not though. It sounds like you would be happy with a factory 72" sleeper and a 24' box with liftgate. Anything with double bunks will have some extra height on the sleeper and...

    Box on straight truck-length/height

I have probably filled my 24' box to capacity less than 10 times in about 3 years of running. But, I can't count the number of times I have gotten the load because I had the bigger box. If there is a larger truck available, the customers seem to request it for some reason. I guess they just want...

    Box on straight truck-length/height

My box is 102" wide x 102" tall x 24' length outside dimensions. I would strongly recommend the 102" wide on a dry box (no reefer). With the 102" outside width, I have about 98" inside width, which is enough to place to 48" x 48" skids side by side (very good thing). I don't "think" you can...

    Nissan NV

Not sure that it matters. The more space, the better. The CargoMax/UltraMax units have 14' of usable length, the extended Sprinters have over 15'. If you want to compete with them, you'll need to at least match them. Exactly 10,000lb GVWR, 16ft of usable floor space, 6ft height of doors, 50"...

    Roof top ac quit

I would definitely want to talk with someone with some experience before I bid on a cruise. I've heard some horror stories about the kind of rooms you can get into on a cruise ship. I would imagine that you can get a great cruise at a great price (especially right now), but I would want some...

I don't know anything about their cruises. The listed price is not what you pay if you use the "name your price" option. The "name your price" works great, but you can't pick a particular hotel. You have to let the system find it for you. Their are some controls that you get to put on it...

I know nothing about the a/c at all, but I can give you a tip on the $80 motel room. I stay in some pretty nice rooms for less than $50. Go to Priceline, learn their "name your price" program. The 60% off is a good number to expect. There are lots of similar websites. I've always just used...

    Highway Star!

Happy Birthday! I actually had a phone conversation with "the STAR" tonight. He was sitting in a bar somewhere in PA complaining about some kinda load he had lined up for tomorrow. Something about lots of miles and lots of money or somethin or other. Apparently dispatch sent him a birthday...

I just wonder what causes it? Seems like it's a mod issue here? Don't some of the other mods have problems with it too?

Amish Girl Killed In Buggy/Truck Accident

Not sure if you meant to have the question mark or not. But, yes they use the shoulder...a wider than normal shoulder (breakdown lane). I don't remember the names of the towns up there. Mansfield was the only one I could think of, but not sure if that's where the changes were made or not, so I...

    C & M Good? Bad?

I don't have a smart phone, but I do have a gps. In a van, I would think the smart phone would do ok. If you can access google maps, you will probably get more accurate mapping to physical addresses than my gps. Personally, I turned the volume off on my gps long ago. You can use a map to verify...

Amish Girl Killed In Buggy/Truck Accident

I'm not familiar with the area, but I didn't see anything in the article stating how much reaction time he had. Is it not possible that he crested a hill and they were so close that he couldn't react in time? Maybe you know since you know the area, but are you sure of exactly where the accident...

    The best expediting company

A lot of truth to what your saying. But, I have to say, that describes my carrier pretty good, but they have been around 60-70 trucks for a long time. I really don't get the feeling they want to grow much larger than that either. As for the big companies, your spot on.
